It happens sometimes. When a war drags out like this one, and it is a war even if it is just a war of cultures right now. Sometimes the good guys fight amongst themselves. It is bad when this happen. It only resolves to weaken us. It strengthens our enemies.
So here’s the scoop. It all started with this post over at LittleGreenFootballs. It seems that a group in Europe was having a rally to promote resisting the Islamization of Europe. Some of the guest speakers have/had questionable ties to active Neo-Nazi organizations. When Charles Johnson of LGF pointed this fact out in the above post, Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs had this to say about it. To boil things down to the main points: Charles suggested that it might not “LOOK” good if the guest speakers had ties to known hate groups. He believes that this would lend credence to the leftist notion that we are racists. Across the big pond however, an ally is an ally when you find yourself in an ever increasing Muslim population.
Now I am not one to pass judgment on either side in this case. In fact I can understand both sides of this story. Here in America, the leftist will use anything they can get there hands on to discredit conservatives and further their agenda. So it’s always a good idea to err on the side of caution. Also, the pervasiveness of Islam has not reached the proportions in the U.S. as it has in Europe. So, with the leftist capitulating on all sides to the demand of the Muslims, I can understand the conservatives in Europe want to ally with anyone they can.
Like I started this article out, it happens sometimes. We as a group that understand the dangers of Islam should try to put these differences behind us and focus on the enemy at hand.

Well it has been a while since I posted. Seems like everyone wants to hear about…… 1)The fish tank… 2) The new boat.
Well let’s take these in order. The fish tank is doing great. We have acquired a few new fish. I have replaced the twin (Clown Fish) with a new set of twins. They have taken to the Anemone. What that means is that they are hosting the Anemone, which is really cool to watch. They swim in and out of his tentacles all day. Really cool. We also got a Lawn Mower Blenny. He is aalge picker. He stays mostly hidden. All the rest of the tank is growing great. I tried to take pictures last night but they didn’t come out very good, real blurry. I will try to get some later this afternoon.
The new boat is pretty cool. It’s a 17 foot Starcraft Fish & Ski with a 120 hp outboard motor. With me and Teresa it will max out at around 40 miles an hour, which is pretty fast fro a boat. We have had it out several times before it has gotten too cool to use. Mostly we just cruise around the lake, but we do have a set of skies and tubes to drag people around the lake.
Well that’s it mostly other than that all I’ve been doing is studying Nostradamus and working.

Ok I got my lighting. It’s a 4×54w T5 system. 2 10000k sun lamps, 2 460 nm Actinics, and 4 White Lunar Lamps. I have it set on a timer so the Actinics come on an hour before the sun lamps and then stay on for an hour after the sun lamps go off. That creates a dusk/dawn kinda of thing. Those stay on for a total of 12 hours a day and then the other 12 hours the Lunar Lights are on. Here are some pics……
Here is the Full Sun shot……

Then this is just the Actinics (Dusk/Dawn)

The the Lunar Lights…….

The light level is so low on the Lunars you have to hold the camera perfectly still….. Not possible for me
We are probably gonn have to get a better camera to take pics of the reef. I was looking in there today and there are critters crawling around…… Copepods and Some worms of some sort…….. So things are starting to get right so that I can add some other critters. I plan on adding some Hermit Crabs, Snails, and maybe some Shrimp this weekend.

Well ……. it’s ben some time since I posted……. Racing is going well even though it feels like were just getting started we’ve rained out so much this season….. but on to other things. I want to introduce you to my current time killer/money waster
…….

Ok……. it’s a walmart special 55 gal (even though it only holds about 50 gals). Right now I have:
- Aqua-Tech 30-60 filter with charcoal filter pads and generic filter media
- 150w Heater
- Digital Thermometer
On order is:
- 2 Maxi-Jet 900 powerheads - for creating water flow.
- 1 Ocean Master Test kit.
Soon to be ordered:
- Nova Extreme HO Light Fixture - 4 x 54W & 4 Lunar lamps.
- Aqualight Power Center - timer to switch between day and night.
- Prizm Deluxe Protein Skimmer.
This is going to be a saltwater reef tank……. cool huh …… All I have done so far is to mix the water. I have to wait 24 hours for every thing to settle and get my salt mix right. Then it’s time to start the cycle…… 40 lbs of fiji live rock along with 40 lbs of live reef sand…….. then we wait about 3 to 4 weeks for the critters to start doing their thing…… then corals…… fish……. and stuff. I’ll post more pictures as things progress……

Deal Struck on Immigration Bill
Well there goes the neighborhood……
I especially liked this part:
Key senators in both parties announced agreement with the White House Thursday on an immigration overhaul that would grant quick legal status to millions of illegal immigrants already in the U.S. and fortify the border.

Here is a dandy of an article from 1200 WOAI News Radio in San Antonio. It seems that illegal immigrants have been registering to vote…. some 300 or so…. Hundreds of Illegals Have Registered to Vote in Bexar County
Bexar County Elections Administrator Jackie Callanan confirmed the figures, but she says a new form of voter registration card, which requires people to swear they are citizens when they register, should help cut the problem, because people who vote illegally can be charged with perjury.
