So far all the English translations that I have found on the internet are exactly the same.
According to Michael Rathford this quatrain is speaking of the anti-Christ.
This could speak of the anti-Christ. I’m not in agreement with the mainstream translation that his name will be “barbaric” to Westerners. In my translation of the first line I read this as people will perceive him as being rugged or strong. “D’vn” could be a proper name or a derivative of a proper name. Possible names: Devin, Devlin. It could also stand for Devil.
The second line of text is crucial in the time lime of this quatrain I believe. The three “sisters” I believe is significant. They could be people, a place, or a thing, or maybe 3 things. When doing a google search on “the three sisters” the first thing to come up is a rock formation in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. The second page on google is a piece about the Iroquois Indians and their belief that corn, beans and squash are the physical and spiritual sustainer of life, the three sisters of sustenance. Also the three sisters is a 5 volcano area in Oregon in the Cascade Mountains.
More research has uncovered a web site, http://www.globalpolicy.org/. This web site purports that the GPF, Global Policy Forum, is a self appointed “over seer” of the UN and the current affairs of Globalization. This group wishes to infer “democratization”; their words; in the policies of the UN. The significance here is that the group considers the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Trade Organization as “The Three Sisters” of Globalization. It should be noted that the GPF consider “the three sisters” to be the most powerful organizations in the world. This could indicate that the person spoken about in the quatrain could come from one of these organizations. It could also indicate a time in which this person would appear. “As the three sisters have the number” or to be read “When the three sisters come to power”; could this be the time in history when we should look for this person, when these organizations come to power.
The last two lines of the quatrain are similar to the accepted translation, with the exception of the 3rd line, which I believe tells of the publics reaction and not what “he” does. The masses will believe in this man so strongly that he will be the most famous person ever. He will be known by every single person on Earth.
